When I was a teen, there was no Internet and I didn't have the
opportunity that kids have today. If you are a teen now in 2008, you
have have before you the means to start making money on your own and to
start building a business. There are so many ways for teens to make money
on the Internet and to start learning and building something that they
can profit from for the rest of their life. And they can start it all
for free!
Now I know kids today are totally mesmerized and wrapped
up in video games and all the cool technology on that front. I know
they only want to do one thing and that is sit in front of their TV with
their latest game. But let me tell you that you can get a big rush from
making money too. If you are someone who likes an adrenaline rush, just
wait until you start making sales and see some real money come in. You
can gather all the fake gold and money you want in video games and
become a powerful player. But once you turn that game off you are back
to reality and you can't do anything with your high level character.
But
if you start playing the real game of Internet marketing, you can be
making real money. Getting an email from Paypal or wherever saying that
you just made a sale is every bit as fun and exciting as a video game.
And when you start making multiple sales in a day, the adrenaline rush
you can get is incredible.
The great thing about the many ways to make money
on the Internet is that it is free to start and you can go at your own
pace. What other job or business can you say that about? None that I
know of. You don't have to pay for employees, inventory, a store, or
anything else that makes a real brick and mortar business so hard to
succeed at.
You can keep adding on to your business as you have
time and energy. As I mentioned above, those are the things I would
probably have right now if I had started sooner. If I had had the chance
to start as a teenager there is a good chance that I would never of
needed to get a real job. I would have just kept on building and
building my "online assets" as I am doing now.
Unfortunately, if
you are a teenager, you may have to get assistance from your parents in
signing up for some affiliate programs as the age requirement is usually
18. You may have to get them to sign up in their name. But if you are
serious about learning and making money, I would think that most parents
would welcome an enterprising teenager and be willing to sign up. There
are many ways for teens to make money on the Internet but you will
probably need to join these free affiliate programs to be successful.
There
is no better time to start than right now. Building your own "online
empire" will not be easy and will require dedication and hard work. But
once you start learning, having your own ideas, and start making money,
it will also become fun. You might even be able to turn it into a work from home jobs.
Teenagers have so much creativity and learning potential that starting
young at this is a great advantage. If you start now and build at your
own pace, there is no telling where you will be in just two or three
years.
