They must know and understand what you are doing and what is expected of them when you are scheduled to work. It is very important that they agree not to interrupt you while you work so you can maintain efficiency.

As previously, stated make sure to post your schedule on the door to your office, if you have one, refrigerator, or any other high traffic areas of your home. You must stick to your schedule just as if you were working for someone else so you can give yourself the best change at being successful.

- Do: Work away from home

You may have to get out of your home and spend some time working from the local coffee shop, library, or somewhere that might have a wireless internet connection. Especially if there are a lot of interruptions in your home.

Also, at times you may feel restless because of the routine of working at home and need a change of scenery and just get out of the home. This will help to keep you motivated and help you to rejuvenate yourself. Basically, it will be good for you, your soul, and your work efficiency.
