How often are you angry or frustrated or disappointed by someone’s actions because they aren’t what you want or expect? How often do you operate more from your own agenda rather than what is needed or important for the other person? Worse yet, how often do you get what you want only to discover it wasn’t the best of all possibilities?

Whether it’s the actions we expect our colleagues to take, the recognition we think we deserve, or the careers we want our children to choose, we can save a tremendous amount of energy when we accept that people will not always act as expected or in ways that suit us. This doesn’t mean losing control; it means acknowledging that in most cases we’re not in control and don’t need to be for things to turn out okay.

It’s funny but this seems to describe how I’ve lived life 99% of the time. Sometimes I mistook it for allowing others to walk over me, but I recognize that it truly is a matter of not allowing it to bother me. I simply do not care (in the non-attached sense).

Accept the unpredictable nature of life. Let go of expectations and view the world around you from a new and more spontaneous perspective. Be more flexible and ready to adapt and respond to whatever may come your way with more intelligence, more creativity and more balance. Expect only the unexpected!

Advice For Life

* Take a 10-30 minute walk every day. And while you walk, smile. It is the ultimate anti-depressant.

* Dream more while you are awake.

* Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat fewer foods that are manufactured in plants.

Energy is the only currency. If you can't turn your energy into cash, it's not worth a plug nickel.

Energy is of prime importance and the driving force of all success and results. In The Science Of Success Learning System, we explore the understanding that everything is comprised of energy. Let's agree up front that when I speak of energy, I'm not speaking of hyped-up activity. In fact, while there is a time and a place for colossal action, often the insightful will realize the answer lies in the direct opposite.

We've been taught since antiquity that there are two forces at play in our Universe: the active and the receptive, the dynamic and the magnetic, the yang and the yin, the traditional male and female. Western society has been historically action oriented (yang), while Eastern cultures have tended to lean more towards the yin.

As the East becomes more westernized in its activity, it also is experiencing the same difficulties. Energy is maintained through a harmony of yin and yang. Activity is an expenditure of energy and, if overdone, will deplete your reserves. While too much of either is counterproductive, being out of harmony tends to be epidemic in our world.

Intellect is yang...Increasing Spirit is yin.

You may have heard me say before that if you want to increase your currency, you must do three things: collect, condense and escalate your energy. To accomplish this, you must be a master of the delicate harmony between activity and introspection/reflection.

Obviously this is not a popular mentality in our currently male-dominated, active world...

And that's why our entire planet is poised on the brink of a major adjustment.

The true student cuts a heroic trail that the mass population does not understand...Mass mentality is caught up in their "doing," while the student puts her primary focus on "being."

If you can agree that energy is what determines results, then it stands to reason that the more energy you can muster and maintain, the greater your results. Furthermore, energy is just a variation spirit.

Does this mean that the wealthy are all spiritual? Not necessarily. Living in a physical world, the ego (intellectual, yang mind) can power itself to physical results without a full understanding of spiritual cause.

Therefore, choose your teachers and mentors wisely. While someone may have the ego power to collect a certain amount of toys and trinkets on the physical plane, they often don't have a clue regarding the Infinite. Some may be able to tell you how to accumulate a million dollars, yet this by no means qualifies them to teach you how to be truly wealthy.

Likewise, it does stand to reason that the poor are probably not spiritual (filled with energy), even though in many cases, they may claim to be "religious".

The person who said, "Money is the root of all evil," probably didn't have any!

These individuals have totally forgotten their birthright and who they truly are...Abundance (if you missed my message from a few months ago, It Is a Sin to Be Poor, you can check it out on my blog archives. I dive in deep in that message).

Your speed of oscillation will determine the results and the surroundings you attract to your life.

No energy, no cash, no results.

To the degree that you increase your personal velocity through the constant harmony of yang (activity) and yin (inactivity/receptivity), you'll find your environment and your world will change.

Let your intuition be your guide:


  • If you passionately feel that something is right to do, do it passionately. If you are ambivalent or uncertain...wait. Take time each day to be alone and journey inside (yin).
  • Limit, or even better, turn off "the plug-in drug" (a.k.a. the TV). This income- and energy-reducer is transmitting a constant stream of electrons right into your brain that puts you in a trance state and dulls mind and your senses.
  • Avoid the murder, mayhem and sensationalism spouting from the media. Avoid the emotional propaganda designed to keep you in a constant state of fear and disempowerment. It will dull the senses, limit creativity and suggest that we're totally out of control and unable to do anything about it.


  • I'm looking for a few misfits, mavericks and outsiders (according to mechanical-mentality) who are willing to cut their own trail on the Journey of Power. While this seems intense and serious, remember it's a game: it's a game that's seriously playful and playfully serious.

    Be courageous enough to walk the Path of Power. Be courageous enough to take back your power. The first step is to step back.

    Success comes and goes, but significance echoes across eternity.

    7 Habits Of Highly Effective Wildlife

    While Stephen Covey may have cornered the market with his breakthrough tome "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People", after my recent trip to the Canadian Rockies I believe the animal kingdom can offer us even more wisdom. Forget the theory that just because humans have opposing thumbs that they sit at the top of the pyramid of wisdom. One only needs to look as far as the state of affairs of wildlife management, environmental issues, and the pace of life in general to know that while we may be smart and innovative, sometimes we're missing the back to basic mentality that can truly help us thrive and enjoy our lives while we do it.

    When I wasn't spending time obsessing about the fact that the bear population was out in full force because it was prime berry season in the Banff and Jasper areas, I really tuned into the amazing wildlife we were seeing. What did these magnificent creatures have to teach us? Well, this is what I found.

    1) Follow Nature's Rhythm. There is an ebb and flow to nature's rhythm that is universal. In the harsh winters activity slows down. Bears hibernate, mountain goats head to higher elevations, and fish reduce activity as they feed beneath the frozen water. If they chose to do it any differently they simply wouldn't survive.

    The lesson here is that we each have our own personal rhythm that is optimal for us and we need to tune it to the natural world around us. We've become so far removed from the natural flow of things by spending our days cooped up in cubicles, living in artificial environments, and moving at some prefabricated societal warp speed that we can sometimes get out of synch.

    While I'm not suggesting that we all need to move to the wilderness and live off the land, I do believe slowing down to the speed of life each day so we can recognize and flow with our own body's rhythms and that of the natural world around us is key to our own personal effectiveness and fulfillment.

    2) Trust Your Instincts. Animals live and die by their instincts. They don't sit around and analyze charts, graphs, and white papers before acting. While they do assess a situation, they don't go into analysis paralysis. If an animal gets startled, it'll instantly determine whether to fight or flee. If their predators are nearby, they camouflage themselves best they can and stay on high alert.

    Have you ever made a decision where your instincts told you one thing but you thought about it and then it turned out badly? You probably said to yourself, "I should've trusted my instincts!" We all have the ability to tap into our instincts which allows us to get beneath the chatter of the mind. When we do that, we tend to be more aligned with our higher good and make better choices. So, even if you're faced with choices that require some analysis, remember to tap into your instincts to ensure you make the best choices possible each day.

    Animals know not to waste their energy and time picking fights with non-predators. They pick their battles and only attack if they feel threatened. Even then, if possible they will first flee a threat rather than fight. While there are certainly predators out there that need to hunt and kill for food they are methodical about it and clearly in search of food and not simply trying to liven things up in the animal kingdom. There is also the delicate balance of prey and predator that keeps the circle of life flowing as each animal in it has a role to play. The animal kingdom lives in harmony based on a higher plan.

    3) Know Your Predators/Friends. How do you interact with other members of your species (other humans)? Do you assume the best in others or do you attack at first sight? Do you live your life in service to others helping them to be their best or do you live from a mentality of scarcity and treat everyone as a potential predator even keeping those closest to you at arms length because you fear your own vulnerability?

    4) Honor Your Uniqueness. You will not find the fish in the trees nor will you find elk swimming laps at the local lake. Why? Because the animal kingdom has perfected the concept of knowing and playing to their strengths. You don't see any animal annual performance appraisals going on where the animal in charge focuses on the groups' weaknesses and then asks the fish to focus on improving their running skills while pleading with the birds to take a self-improvement class on swimming. If they did, they wouldn't survive. Instead the mother animals teach their young how to further strengthen their natural abilities so they can ensure survival of the species.

    If this is nature's order, why then do humans skip this lesson? I'll be the first to promote self-growth and stretching yourself in areas you never thought you could. However, so many of us spend our lives spinning our wheels and focusing on our weaknesses that we never truly cultivate our unique talents. What if we instead played to our strengths and passions so we could thrive?

    5) Focus and Be in the Moment. Animals don't multi-task. If you've ever watched a bird building her nest or even a house cat lounging around, they are 100% focused on what they are doing (or in the case of my cats, not doing anything) and totally in the moment. They aren't worried about what will happen later, tomorrow, or even in ten minutes. They aren't hunting for food and building a nest while checking e-mail.

    There isn't a successful business or life fulfillment expert that would disagree with me that focus and being in the moment are keys to success. Why, then do we spend so little time fully engaged in what we are doing at any given moment? If you've ever lost yourself in a hobby and found yourself energized and totally immersed in what you were doing, you know the feeling I am talking about. How can you get more of that in your life every day both on and off the job?

    6) Clearly Define Your Goals. You might think, "what do you mean animals have goals?" Well, they might not have a business plan and a pie chart, but they are clearly goal oriented. For example, a mother bird on a timeline to build a nest before she can lay eggs; or, a bear needing to eat a certain amount of food in order to survive the winter hibernation. They are clear on what they need and move wholeheartedly toward their goal.

    If you don't know what you really want, how will you know when you get it? That is the essence of a clearly defined goal - being clear on what you need and want. After that, it is all about inspired action over a period of time and not spreading yourself too thin.

    7) Use Only What You Need/Sustainable Living. The animal kingdom does not live in the lap of excess, nor do they waste any resources given to them. When a predator bags its prey it feeds on the whole of the carcass. If there is any left, other animals enjoy the bounty. The carnivores aren't out there trying to kill as many prey as possible, only what they need. Instinctually it knows that being wasteful could impact its likelihood of survival.

    While I am all for living life and enjoying some truly guilty pleasures, I also believe how we handle the both the things that are given to us as well as the world around us directly impacts what is possible for us. For instance, if we mismanage and disrespect the money we already have, it is pretty likely that we're not going to attract money abundantly because we're sending the message that we can't handle it. Or, if we do attract it (like many lottery winners), it'll slip through our hands so fast that we'll be back where we started. The same holds true for our physical surroundings, the environment, and the relationships we have with others. Thriving over the long haul means living sustain ably day to day.

    The next time you find yourself at a loss for answers when it comes to your life, pause for a few minutes and be willing to look to nature for a clue. The answers are all around us.

    I believe in buying secrets. I believe in specialized knowledge and know-how. I also believe the most important part of the whole equation is what you DO. What you DO is as important as what you KNOW. Doing requires confronting what is NOT comfortable to you. Watching DVDs and going to seminars is comfortable. DOING is not. Why? It's a learning curve. Things don't work. Things aren't as simple as you wish. That's part of life. But if you really wanna make it happen, you gotta focus on DOING. And the main reason I bring up this uncomfortable and unpopular truth is because I want YOU to succeed. My products for the most part are NOT about secrets. They're about DOING. Yeah, that isn't as sexy and interesting and fun. But do you wanna be entertained? Or do you wanna make money? Honestly. If you wanna be entertained by the biggest fireworks show and dazzling simultaneous blitzkriegs of promotions by affiliates, then have a good time. Enjoy the show. Personally, for entertainment I recommend movies, comedy shows and magic shows. But it's whatever floats your boat. If you wanna make money, then buy your know-how carefully and focus on DOING. You don't HAVE unless you DO.

    4 Ways To Use Niche Marketing

    Once you have done your research and defined your target niche market you have to learn how to use it to your advantage to make your business successful. Here are 4 ways you can use niche marketing to boost your earning potential:

    1. Advertise where your niche market is most likely to look. A niche market is going to be people with similar backgrounds, ideas and interests. It shouldn't be too hard to define some places where your niche market is most likely to frequent.

    2. Say the right thing. You have to talk to your niche market the way that they talk. For example, if your niche market is a teenager, then use some teenage lingo and speak to them in a way that they will understand. If you need help find someone in your target niche and ask him or her for his or her opinion.

But it will be well worth your time.

    4. Make sure the price is right. The whole point of finding your niche market is so that you can cater to their needs. One of the most important things you can do is to make sure that the price you set for your product is one that your niche can afford. If you are selling something to a niche market that is in a medium income bracket then you don't want to price your product for those that are in a higher income bracket or you will lose sales.

    Making the most of your niche marketing efforts is essential. There is no point in using niche marketing if you are not going to take all the necessary steps to ensure you are using it right. Niche marketing can be very successful if you do everything you can to ensure you are taking full advantage of it.     Dear Friend,

    Once upon a time, two people were on the same path through the terrible black forest. One person had no idea where the path was going and was just hoping it ended up some place he wanted to go. The other person knew for certain that this path led to the castle of outrageous fortune, satisfying relationships, and phenomenal. emotional and physical health.

    Both encountered many challenges, hardships, real and imagined demons along the way. Even though they both were on the same path they ended up in vastly different places. The one that didn't know where the path was going got frustrated, angry, and many times had doubts about whether he was on the right path. Because he had so many doubts he fought his battles with little enthusiasm or joy. Every setback seemed more severe, every challenge made him lose more belief in himself and what was possible.

    The other person had a friend who had already been down the path and lived in the castle. The friend had told him that even though the path was filled with challenges it was worth the journey because the rewards were so great. The friend also gave him insights to learn from the journey and strategies to deal with the challenges as they arose. His friend also taught him how to enjoy the castle when he arrived so that he could live happily ever after.

    The first person finally gave up and quit moving on the path. He became afraid of what might lie up ahead. He built a little hut to protect himself as best as possible from the beasts of the forest. After a time he began to believe that it was his destiny to stay in the forest and very soon he lost all ambitions other than those needed to merely survive. He always wondered what would have happened if he had gone just a little further down the path. He wondered if he would have found what he was searching for.

    The second person kept meeting the challenges head-on. Each victory made him stronger. Each step on the path excited him more because he knew he was one step closer to his castle. Sure enough, the day arrived when the challenges became simple and he knew no matter what happened he could handle it. He reached the castle, he married the princess, he possessed all the gold, and he lived happily ever after.

    Don't you wish you had a friend who could tell you what was at the end of the path? Wouldn't it also be more fun if you knew how to deal with the challenges that came up no matter how large they appeared to be? You do and it will be. Since I was and am just like you I am committed to helping you get more. I started my own journey down the path without the knowledge that there is indeed a castle.     How To Setup Your Weekly Plan.

    Working at home can be tough to plan a complete schedule, with all the distractions and things that come up, but you should at the very minimum set some goals for the week.

    I'm a huge fan of setting goals for a few reasons…

    => It gives you something to strive for.
    => It keeps you on track and keeps you on schedule.
    => When you accomplish a goal you get a sense of accomplishment, and that's a great feeling.
    => It gives you confidence to go on and achieve your other goals.

    Now while I'm a big fan of long-term goals, today I'm going to focus on setting goals that you can achieve in a day or in a week or in a month.

    If your goal for the week is to focus on growing your list and creating new quality content to give away to list, here is an example on how you may set your plan to achieve your goals…

    Monday

    - Write a short report on a topic that your subscribers would be able to use to their benefit. You will use this report to increase subscribers.

    - Give them some additional hints in your e-mail that you will send a new report shortly.

    - Do some research on writing an e-book or report.

    Tuesday

    - Start writing your report.

    - Create a squeeze page for your report.

    - Write some articles and submit them and include a link to your squeeze page in your bio.

    Wednesday

    - Continue writing your report.

    - Do some pay-per-click to help get traffic to your squeeze page.

    - Send a helpful e-mail to your list. Some tips or hints on your niche topic.

    Thursday

    - Finish writing your report.

    - Post in forums with a link to your squeeze page in your signature.

    - Search for relevant sites that you can potentially joint venture with.

    Friday

    - Create an e-mail to send to your list.

    - Give away your report in exchange for feedback.

    - Get feedback from your list, i.e. ways to improve it and get testimonials for your squeeze page.

    - Finalise your squeeze page and release your report.

    You notice that I didn't put the hours for each task!

    To me the time isn't important. If you want to schedule things by hours and that helps you stay organized and on track, then go ahead and set your schedule that way.

    I believe that a person can do nothing for days, as long as they get their work done and accomplish what they set out to do by the time they wanted it done, then that's OK.

    We work our own schedules. That means that it does not matter what time of the day you work and get things done. Just so long as you get it done. It's all about living a lifestyle you enjoy!
